Warning signs:
- Severe headache
- Stiff neck (can't touch chin to chest)
- High fever with cold hands/feet
- Sensitivity to bright light
- Vomiting
- Confusion or drowsiness
- Rash that doesn't fade
🥛 The Glass Test
Press a clear glass firmly on the rash.
If it doesn't fade → call 999 now
Check palms/soles on darker skin.
👶 Babies — also watch for:
Bulging fontanelle, high-pitched cry, floppy, refusing feeds, staring
⚠️ Rash may appear LATE or not at all
Trust your instincts: "Never been this ill"
